Blogging is slow and steady but with consistency and patience, you can start earning a good amount of money through blogging! The best part about it is, once things get rolling you can blog about anything you would like and make money from it! Here are the 5 ways to earn money on your blog :

1 - Advertisement

This is probably one of the best ways to earn money from blogging. A lot of people think that running ad's on their blog is annoying or just going to drive people away. However, as long as you have a clean layout and keep the ads out of the way of the main content then this is a great way to earn money through blogging. The best way to start doing this is to sign up for Google Adsense. Google Adsense is amazing for implementing ads onto your website hassle-free and allows you to customize a lot of parts about the ads. You do need to apply your website and it will be reviewed but other than that it's the best way.

2 - Social media posts

This is another fantastic way to promote your blog and a lot of people do it. Let's take Instagram for example, If you find a page with a high following and that page is part of your niche that you blog about. simply asking them to promote your blog on their page for a bit of money or something you could trade on is a great way to get a new stream of traffic to your page. With Adsense, this goes hand in hand.

Once you have a large following, you can also offer the same service to smaller bloggers and that's a great way to get yourself revenue without doing much at all!

3 - Affiliate Marketing

This is a great way to make money and get seen by potentially big companies. Affiliate marketing is when you add a link to your blog post that people can click and it will give you a small amount of money for each person that clicks it as a way of saying 'thanks'. This is generally done when promoting products, programs, and anything that can take you to the page of that topic/item your blogging about. Companies like to do this because it gets people adding the link as they want to make money and because that very thing is what's making them money also.

4 - Sell merch

Once you start gaining some traction you will want to up your game a bit. This is the perfect time to add blog specific merchandise to your blog, a little store with products based on your blog, niche, etc is a good way to make money. It doesn't even need to be anything specific as long as it has demand and fits your audience you should see sales!

5 - Get paid writing reviews

Companies will pay for bloggers to review their products so that they can spread the word about their products. usually, bloggers have a big audience so when they review a new product it acts as an advertisement for them, and if the blogger likes the product can mean a lot of sales. However, they would and should pay you for these product reviews as well as giving you a sample of the product to test for free. These samples usually mean you can keep them too.
