Hi guys, it's been about 3 months since I posted anything on here. This is mainly due to working at Awin and being very busy. It's also just because I didn't think I had much to talk about. Instead of aiming for a weekly blog when I don't really have much, I am just going to be posting when I have a lot of to talk about and projects to discuss as this is my portfolio / online CV site after all.
so Awin has been amazing so far, I have met a lot of people since I started and also learnt way more than I ever expected too. During the last 3 months, I have been given the responsibility of being in my own team with a colleague and our job is to help all DACH, Italy, Spain, France, and Brazil clients integrate with our program and not only this but recently we have been given even more responsibility of being account managers. This is essentially a promotion as far as I am concerned as I have been told by my manager how well I have been doing and thus given more work. Giving me so much more experience with clients, Salesforce, SQL, HTML, and much more.
We also had a Reunion party in London which was massive and amazing. I got neon face paint to celebrate the night and was such a good time, also meeting the Director of Awin and having a good talk with him (he is a gamer too). Last week we also went on Awin's first 'Rural Retreat' this is essentially a trip to a farm out in kent where we did team-building exercises such as gardening, orientating, hiking, etc. We all got our own double bedrooms and the day was always full of activities. Events like this helped me bond and grow with my team, getting to know them more than just a Team's call every day.
So I have been doing a lot within my own life to improve and just enjoy my internship before going back to uni, one of these is being consistent with the gym. I have been going for around 4-5 months consistently now and doing a routine that means I am in the gym 6 days a week. It's tough but I have learned to love going to the gym and the diet also. Right now I am on a cut so I am eating at around a 500 cal deficit, the hardest part is getting all the protein in within those calories but meal prepping has helped tremendously.
I have also been improving my fashion by getting into business casual wear. I look so good in business casual compared to just a jumper and jeans that I wanna move slowly into this more. As well as improving on any aspect I can.
I have a few projects from the university that I wanna make some blogs about but I will be uploading any code straight to GitHub so it's visible for everyone to see. I am enjoying doing coding projects right now and also creating games so going through the Software Development cycle with all of that.
That's about it from me but I hope you guys are doing well. Thanks for reading byeeee
